FOUND! Small white dog with spots

Eva Rumble from Summerfield Lane has found a dog on her side of the street and was asking if maybe it belongs to someone on this street. She says it is a female dog, white with some very faint black dots kind of like a dalmatian. she is very thin and small maybe 20 25 pounds. Here is Eva's e-mail just in case you hear of anybody missing a dog . Eva said that the dog has been hit on her left leg. She has called animal control. evarumble@carolina.rr.com

Decorating begins at 8:30 tomorrow morning, convening at the C2 pool! Kevin will have coffee and donuts so please lend a hand. Cedarfield always looks phenomenal and the beautiful decorations bring families from miles around. Your warmth and care is part of what makes our neighborhood one of THE sought after places to live at the Lake! The more volunteers we can get, the less time it will take so please join us!

German Shepard Found!

A young German Shepard has been found in Cedarfield. Description is Female, apx 6-12 months old. She did not have a colar or any identification on her. The person that found her took her to the vet, but she does not have a microchip. Any information, please contact kim@cedarfield2.org

North Carolina Adds Energy Tax Holiday

The fall sales tax holiday calendar is starting to fill up.

North Carolina is the latest state to schedule an event that offers consumers relief from its state sales and use tax.

The timing of the event, Nov. 7-9, is especially welcome, since by then the state's tax rate will have increased to 4.5 percent. Local Levies also will be waived during the November weekend.

As in many other states, this new North Carolina tax holiday is an add-on. The Tar Heel State held its back-to-school event earlier this month.

And as in some other locales, this holiday was created to encourage the purchase of energy-efficient appliances.

H'VILLE POLICE DEPT LAUNCH OF P2C WEBSITE

FROM HPD: The Huntersville Police Department is pleased to announce the launch of P2C (Police to Citizen), a new internet-based program that will provide citizens the opportunity to retrieve and print incident summary reports, accident reports, and view a daily bulletin of events without any interaction from the agency’s resources. A community calendar of events, FAQ’s (frequently asked questions) and a list of very helpful links to other websites are also part of P2C. Citizens will have the opportunity to perform crime mapping of their neighborhoods in Huntersville and be able to see where incidents, traffic crashes and arrests are actually occurring. The P2C website is www.huntersvillep2c.org.

We believe that P2C will provide an even higher quality of police service to the citizens of Huntersville and continue to improve the excellent working partnership between the community and the Department.
